Alex and I had a long of couple of days getting here - while on our ten hour layover in New York, we took the subway into Manhattan, had a lovely walk in Central Park, quick stop at Macy's, a good lunch and then took the subway back to the airport. Six and half hour flight to L.A. with a two hour layover and then a 14 hour flight to Sydney. Arrived to sunny weather, and our gracious and friendly hosts, Nick, Allison and their son Kaelen. After freshening up, we went to Sydney's Circular Quay, took a ferry out to Manly Beach and enjoyed the afternoon and a dinner on the beach. Not a bad way to spend the day!
