Mary Queen of the World Cathedral (Cathédrale Marie-Reine-du-Monde) Montreal, Canada

This Cathedral is the seat of the Roman Catholic archdiocese of Montreal and is the third largest church in Quebec. It was built from 1870 to 1894 and its architect was inspired by St. Peter’s Basilica in Rome.  Having been at the Bascilica in Rome, I could see it was a miniature version – kind of cool to compare the two!  On May 14, 2006 the Cathedral was named a National Historic Site of Canada.

Translates to "Mary Queen of the World"

I am standing under the sign....just sayin'
