This is a picture of Alex and I just before entering the Colosseum. We had a guided tour which is really worth it as the Guides add lots of interesting information. There are crazy amounts of Tourists even in Septermber....aren't people supposed to be working?

Inside the Colosseum you won't find much left, the Colosseum was pillaged by the locals of the day for materials, the Vatican included!! Quite fascinating. From here, we had a tour of the Forum, without a guide you really wouldn't know what you were looking at - pretty much the same goes for all of Italy.
The only seats left in the Colosseum!
